Our History
Timeline
1999 – 2006
Australian Hydraulic Services began life as a humble sole trader called Coastal Fluid Power. Operating from a cattle farm in Far North Queensland, the business quickly saw success and moved into its first workshop in 2000. By the end of 2006, we have employed 6 staff and moved into a custom-built facility in Innisfail.
2007 – 2014
Doubling our factory size in 2008, Coastal Fluid Power began to grow and expand including a name change to CFP Hydraulics in 2009. With expansion into the Cairns region in 2010, CFP Hydraulics broadened its service range and its client base across the northern regions of Queensland.
2015 – Present
As client needs began to grow and diversify, it became clear to the team at CFP Hydraulics that they would need to expand and segment their offerings. As such, Australian Hydraulic Services, Australian Industrial Manufacturing, and Hydraulic Innovators were born. With Australian Hydraulic Services changing ownership in February of 2021, the business is continuing to set new benchmarks within the local industry landscape, serving local commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and manufacturing across Far North Queensland.
